Non woven fabrics are widely used in medical treatment, such as masks, protective clothing, gloves, etc. the raw materials used are non-woven fabrics. In addition to cotton packaging, non-woven fabric
packaging is commonly used in domestic disinfection supply centers. Compared with cotton packaging, non-woven fabrics have taken a big step in reducing cotton dust pollution.
Medical nonwovens are used to pack instrument boxes to prevent secondary pollution of disinfection equipment. It is breathable, waterproof, flexible, non-toxic and non irritating. It can be used for sterilization packaging such as low-temperature plasma, pressure steam and ethylene oxide.
So what are the quality requirements for medical nonwovens?
1. Non woven packaging materials shall meet the following requirements:
Microbial barrier, water resistance, compatibility with human tissue, air permeability, salt water resistance, surface absorption, toxicology test, equivalent pore size, drape, tensile strength, wet tensile strength and fracture resistance all comply with relevant national regulations and should be used as disposable articles.
2. Storage environment requirements.
The storage requirements of medical nonwovens shall comply with YY / t0698. 2-2009 specification.
That is, the temperature of the inspection, packaging and sterilization area is 20 degree - 23 degree , the relative humidity is 30 percent - 60 percent , and the cotton dressing packaging room shall be mechanically ventilated for 10 times in 1H. The cotton dressing packaging room shall be separated from the equipment packaging to avoid cotton dust polluting the equipment and non-woven packaging materials.
3. Dimensional requirements.
(1) Operating room equipment package:
As for the size of the instrument cart in the operating room, if the instrument non-woven fabric package is placed on the table of the instrument cart, the size of the non-woven fabric must reach about 30cm from the surface of the sagging Instrument Cart.
(2) Irregularly shaped instruments:
For example, chest opener, electric drill, etc., select net basket to regularize it, and then use non-woven fabric packaging.
Round containers such as cotton balls are placed in the middle of non-woven fabrics. The fabrics on the left and right sides are folded back, rolled forward, and sealed after returning to the back 3cm-5cm after packaging.
(3) Frame hook instrument:
The non-woven fabric can be properly fixed with adhesive tape on the inner package to prevent loosening.
4. Other requirements.
(1) Requirements for sharp or hooked equipment.
Sharp instrument boxes shall be carried to prevent such equipment from breaking from nonwovens, resulting in equipment pollution and waste of unnecessary supplies.
(2) Overlapping requirements.
The operating basin and treatment bowl shall be packed separately as far as possible. If they need to be overlapped, absorbent paper shall be placed between the articles to reduce the wet packaging rate.
(3) Requirements for small screw and drill bit equipment.
It is not allowed to wrap directly with non-woven fabric, but shall be filled with punching equipment box after packaging.
